Yes it has...

I must say that learning to be a good/professional artist is difficult. I have been met with many challenges, ironically most of those challenges have nothing to do with art. My greatest struggles mostly deal with things like procrastination, and attention span. I lack personal focus... a drive to create for the sake of creating. This is my greatest hurdle to leap, my procrastination bows before things that I possess a focus for.

There are many artists out there, in the world, that have a focus. Whether that focus be broad, like animation versus illustration, or narrowed, say furries versus mecha versus fantasy. I have never had a focus, I've always mimicked others. It is strange, this feels like a cry for help, but I know that it is something that I must discover myself. What is this piece of my creativity that is missing. What is that elusive focal desire that will send me into a never fading desire to create, to project my thoughts my soul onto whatever canvas that lay before me.

I have likes and dislikes but none have ever pulled me into a trance of creation, a mood where all I can do is spill out my ideas onto paper. Mecha, Sci-fi, Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, Steam Punk, Furry, these are some of the narrowed interests that I possess. Animation and Illustration have both intrigued me, both holding opportunities to generate overwhelming emotion. I have seen what great creatives can do when their whole heart goes into a piece, an Idea, a dream. I have to ask.
